George is a civic educator, an advocate for good governance, and an eloquent public speaker. George is a proven leader with a keen understanding of teamwork and cooperative learning. He has presented research at the United Nations in New York, read his poetry at the Lithuanian Mission to the European Union in Brussels, and served as a panelist and contributor on several college and university forums. George is a recipient of many prestigious awards and fellowships. George is also a former trainee at the European Parliament and a member at the Philadelphia Hub of the Global Shapers—a World Economic Forum Initiative. George is also a consultant with Speedy Access, LLC, a thriving tech and social enterprise platform supporting entrepreneurs in Africa and around the world. He is a Christian, an avid follower, and a believer in Jesus Christ.

Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, George holds a BA in political science and international relations from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and a certificate in global human rights from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is currently a doctor of law (JD) student at Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a master’s degree student of diplomacy at the University of Oxford.

As founder and executive director of The Necessity Firm, a citizenship firm seeking to shape and empower “whole citizens” who are objective on matters of nation-building regardless of their social, political, or tribal affiliations, George leads the strategy, programs, and partnerships of the firm. George imagines Sierra Leone as a nation without citizen apathy, and where civic education is made an accessible reality to all.
